ABOUT

Queer Youth Art Collective (QYAC) has run workshops for LGBTQ young people 18-28 since August 2019. The project delivers newly commissioned workshops by LGBTQ artists and youth forums for attendees to discuss their practice and socialise. These alternate weekly on Sundays .

Our primary aims are to challenge isolation, provide free and engaging arts workshops and build skills and infrastructure for a resilient, peer-led LGBTQ arts and education culture in London and throughout the UK.

We currently run 2 groups: ONLINE on ZOOM & IN PERSON From Queer Circle in Greenwich London.

What am I supporting by donating?

Queer Youth Art Collective (QYAC) is the UK’s only national LGBT youth service working specifically in the arts.

We provide a safe place for young LGBT people (18-28) to breathe a little easier, share experiences, advice,
resources and creativity.

QYAC is a free queer art school. We are instilling in the next generation of LGBT artists the values of
collaboration, accessibility in the arts and the importance of educating those who come after.

QYAC hosts free weekly workshops, run by queer artists. We co-curate exhibitions, offer mentoring, social space and resources. We are based out of Queer Circle in Greenwich London. All workshops can also be attended on Zoom.

Thank you for supporting our programme.
All of your donations will go towards the continuation of our service.

Running a free service costs a lot of money!!!

We believe in equity and fairness in the arts. That’s why all our workers including our youth commissions, directors and visiting artists get paid the same rate.

We run year round, provide training, community space and working opportunities for young queers nationwide through art.
